v7.1 focuses on polishing the v7 release with a collection of bug fixes and refinements, alongside an important update to our VWAP and Daily EMA approach triggers.
ā” Separate Support & Resistance Thresholds
VWAP and Daily EMA approach triggers now have separate thresholds for support and resistance.
Previously, both directions shared the same approach distance. With v7.1, you can configure them independently, allowing the triggers to better reflect how these levels are actually used during a trade.
VWAP Defaults Have Been Tuned
The default VWAP configuration now triggers:
- Earlier when approaching resistance ā giving you more time to watch the chart, evaluate the setup, and prepare for a potential entry.
- Closer when approaching support ā keeping the notification relevant to the moment price is actually testing the level.
The result is a more natural flow where Arcane gives you time when you need time, while avoiding unnecessarily early notifications when approaching support.
Daily EMA receives the same independent support/resistance controls, giving you full flexibility to tune both triggers to your trading style.
š§ Polish & Bug Fixes
v7.1 also includes a number of smaller fixes and refinements discovered following the v7 release.
These changes continue the work of polishing the new major branch, improving reliability, consistency, and the overall feel of Arcane Monitor.
